Brief Description:
This patent describes use of the selection in greenhouse assays to identify resistance to SDS. The method is widely used to select new cultiuvars aswell as to identify regions, QTL and genes for improving resistance to Sudden Death Syndrome. The greenhouse assay for SDS resistance has been proven widely useful in US and south American germplasm. This was the first greenhouse assay invented.
